About

Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) has organized national and international seminars and conferences since 2000s. Many institutions and entities in Indonesia and beyond have gained valuable knowledge and experience from these seminars and conferences. This year, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, INDEF is organizing another international conference which will be held in Jakarta on 9-10th of December.  The theme of the conference is: “Sustainable Development and its Challenges in the Changing World”.

Aim and Scope

The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for academics on Indonesian economy, development, and public policy, and to offer formal and informal networking opportunities among policy makers, scholars, professionals, and journalists, from many different countries with common interests in development of Indonesia. This conference is expected to develop a strong network for researchers in same interests or fields. This conference is also expected as a medium for new or young researchers to establish a strong relationship with experienced researchers. In this conference, all levels of university students will have opportunity to present their final or current works and receive friendly feedbacks from academics and peers. Scopes of the conference are ranged from but not limited to:
